Program Committee.  The Program Committee plans and implements the program for each meeting subject to approval of the Executive Committee.

Nominating Committee.  The Nominating Committee presents a slate of nominations for all offices.

Membership Committee.  The Membership Committee works toward the growth of VCSA by contacting prospective and inactive members, and works to maintain a high level of interest in the organization.

Publicity Committee.  The Publicity Committee issues a newsletter to the current membership, and notifies trade journals of Association meetings, sends news releases to media, arranges for pictures, and vigorously pursues measures designed to publicize the activities of the Association.

Book Award Committee.  The Book Award Committee selects a book each year and presents an award to the author who is currently residing in Virginia.  The award is to be presented for a book of outstanding literary, social, and intellectual merit, which was published in the calendar year prior to the award.

Site Selection Committee.  The Site Selection Committee selects the locations of the Annual Meeting subject to the approval of the Executive Committee.

Publisher Relations Committee.  The Publisher Relations Committee maintains contact with publishers, book distributors, and wholesalers, and keeps VCSA members informed of the information obtained.

Education/Scholarship Committee.  The Education/Scholarship Committee administers and presents awards as directed by the Executive Committee.
